I know I've said this a million times before, but this time it's for real, this is my goal: to "restart" my gallery with new projects, with my new and improved styles, with new everything. In 2009, I will delete/scrap old things and upload all new paintings and drawings. I have many already started and a few already done, even... I just have no way of uploading it since I am away at school sans digital camera/scanner.

My new projects include writing and illustrating two young adult fantasy stories. I hope to have the first draft of one done before the end of 2009. This'll be easier this year than previous years as I am taking the Winter break off this year (I haven't had Winter Break off since highschool 0_0). I have also gotten heavily into watercolors and large mixed-media works that are very surrealist-inspired. I hope to continue down that path in my artistic endeavors ^_^

For those of you curious as to what I'm doing in my non-art- or deviantArt-related time (I can't truthfully call it "free time"), I have recently graduated with my Associates Degree at County College and I am currently away at a four-year school working on getting my certification in teaching and Spanish Language studies (maybe that should be another of my goals, writing these journals and the comments in my art in Spanish in addition to English... hmm..). I am also working as a part-time substitute teacher whenever the school district needs me.

And yet, I still have the time to unwind and be creative. I'm still writing and I'm still drawing and painting.
